Thank you . . .

What seemed to have been genetic problems in Sayler's life was actually the result of a drug prescribe to her as a puppy for a urinary tract infection. The drug "Baytril" is recommended not to be administered to puppies of  large and giant breeds until the age of at least 18 months old, because it can cause cartilage problems on the main weight bearing joints and carpal problems. The manufacturer Bayer does have a warning on the information sheet which I was not aware of or told the possible side effects. Sayler didn't have to travel this difficult and costly journey and I would  have her with me today if only I would have known.

Thank-you for your interest and help in Saylers story. Any questions please feel free to email us at Info@SaylerDogs.org

A special thank to all our friends, neighbors, and the various veterinarians who have helped us along the way with patience, dedication,  hope and encouragement that I wasn’t crazy for trying so hard.

A very very special thank you to Dr.  Janice Buback and the entire staff at the Fox Valley Animal Referral Center in Appleton, WI, for their patience with me and the many phone calls and visits we made along with the dedication to the animals. I would have given up if it weren’t for this outstanding veterinarian.

Thanks again JB.
